All drivers must be 23 years or older and hold a valid driver's license from their country of residence for at least 2 years. International visitors may drive on a foreign license for up to 90 days. A valid photo ID and credit card in the driver's name are required at pick-up. An Additional Driver may be added for US$5/day.

All rentals include third-party liability insurance as required by Jamaican law. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is available at US$18/day and reduces renter liability to zero. Without CDW, the renter is responsible for damage up to the full value of the vehicle. Personal Accident Insurance is recommended and available on request.

A refundable security deposit of US$300–US$800 (depending on vehicle class) is held on a major credit card at the time of pick-up. The deposit is released within 5–10 business days of vehicle return, subject to inspection. Debit cards are not accepted for the deposit.

Vehicles are delivered full and must be returned full. A US$25 refueling service fee plus the cost of fuel will be charged if the vehicle is returned with less fuel than at pick-up. Diesel and petrol vehicles are clearly labelled — misfueling is the renter's responsibility.

Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before pick-up. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a one-day rental charge. No-shows are charged a two-day rental fee. Date and vehicle changes are accommodated subject to availability and may affect pricing.

Vehicles may only be driven on paved roads in Jamaica. Driving on beaches, river crossings or unpaved trails will void all insurance. Smoking inside vehicles incurs a US$200 cleaning fee. Pets are permitted in carriers only. Vehicles may not be taken outside Jamaica.

A grace period of 60 minutes applies. Returns beyond the grace period are charged at the daily rate plus a US$15 late fee. Please contact us as early as possible to extend a rental — we'll do our best to accommodate.
